Sean Brady is a Capitol Hill and Trump Administration veteran with more than 15 years of public policy and political experience. Sean has a deep understanding of the legislative process and extensive network of relationships on Capitol Hill and throughout the Executive Branch critical to navigating Washington and helping deliver real results for clients. 

Sean most recently served as the Director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at the Commerce Department’s key trade bureau, the International Trade Administration (ITA). In this role, Sean led engagements on all legislative and policy matters with Capitol Hill, the White House, and other federal agencies on behalf of the Under Secretary for International Trade and ITA’s nearly 2,000-person team across more than 100 U.S. cities and 80 international markets. He also helped successfully navigate several key Senate confirmations for senior Commerce Department officials. 

Prior to serving in the Trump Administration, Sean spent more than one decade on Capitol Hill working for the Vice-Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Congressman Vern Buchanan of Florida. Sean worked his worked his way up from the bottom rung to the top job in the office, serving as Chief of Staff for the Congressman for five years before decamping for the Trump Administration. During his time in Rep. Buchanan’s office, Sean personally handled and oversaw the successful implementation of more than 30 legislative initiatives signed into law. As Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director, he served as the primary staffer for all tax and trade related matters, including during introduction and passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA).

Sean is a native of Alexandria, Virginia, and attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. and the University of Notre Dame.
